Richard Orme has been working in the professional yachting industry for over 17 years and established Large Yacht Solutions in 2005 to offer just that - qualified, impartial advice for Superyacht Acquisitions and New Builds. Known worldwide for its exceptional client service, Large Yacht Solutions has been growing steadily ever since and no one has more knowledge of the niche Superyacht markets that we operate in.

Now known as LYS Yachts, we are not a Brokerage House or the Central Agents for any yacht. We are specialists in providing advice for Buyers. We have therefore, no conflict of interest because we don’t believe you can act totally impartially for a Buyer in any other way. Furthermore, we are able to work with all other Brokerages, obtaining the information we need for our Buyers, simply because we don’t compete against them for central agency sales.

Integrity is easy to say but hard to find. At LYS Yachts we get paid by the Buyer because we believe, as the Buyer’s adviser, there are times when we also have to advise our clients what not to buy.
